Bishop David Sheppard CE Primary School
On Monday 11th November 2019 we visited Bishop David Sheppard CE Primary School in Southport to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all enjoyed the session and asked lots of interesting questions, they especially enjoyed interacting with Tommy at the end. A big thankyou to all the children and staff for taking part.

On Friday 8th November 2019 we visited Landers Road Primary School in Liverpool to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all enjoyed the session and participated well asking lots of interesting questions, they especially enjoyed interacting with Tommy at the end. St Benedicts RC Primary School
On Monday 23rd September 2019 we visited St Benedicts RC Primary School in Liverpool to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. St Lukes C of E Primary School
On Monday 8th July 2019 we visited St Lukes C Of E Primary School in Formby to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all enjoyed the session and participated well, Tommy behaved himself this time and all the children loved meeting him at the end of the session. St John the Baptist Primary School
On Wednesday 3rd July 2019 we visited St John the Baptist Primary School in Padiham to deliver a one to one awareness session to a young person called Lucas who had developed a fear of dogs after a bad experience. This session gave him a prospective from the dogs point of view and helped him understand how to behave around dogs. Initially Lucas was scared when he met Deisel but during the session he enjoyed training and performing tricks with the dog and by the end he was a lot more comfortable. Lucas is pictured above working with Deisel. A big thanks to Lucas and the staff for letting us visit them.
Balderstone St Leonards CE Primary School
On Wednesday 26th June 2019 we visited Balderstone St Leonards CE Primary School to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all enjoyed the session especially interacting with Diesel at the end as a lot of the children didnt have dogs at home. A big thankyou to all the children and staff for taking part.
St Josephs RC Primary School
On Wednesday 19th June 2019 we visited St Josephs RC Primary School in Stacksteads to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all enjoyed the session and participated well, the dinner ladies joined in after the presentation and joined the children for a photo with Diesel. A big thankyou to all the children and staff for taking part.
St Phillips C of E Primary School
On Monday 10th June 2019 we visited St Phillips C of E Primary School to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all enjoyed the session and participated well, that cant be said for Tommy who was wanting to play outside instead which made all the children laugh. A big thankyou to all the children and staff for taking part.
Thurnham Glasson C of E Primary School
On Wednesday 22nd May 2019 we visited Thurnham Glasson C of E Primary School to deliver our awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all participated well asking lots of questions and staff at the school commented that it was a worthwhile session and the children loved meeting Diesel.

On Wednesday the 8th May 2019 we visited Rosewood Primary School in Burnley to deliver our Living Safely with Dogs awareness session to the children during assembly. The children all enjoyed the session and asked lots of questions they also enjoyed practising their new skills on Tommy the Collie who thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone.

On Wednesday the 1st May 2019 we visited Eldon Primary School in Preston to deliver our Living Safely with Dogs awareness session to the children during assembly.

All the children were keen to learn new skills on how to act safely around their dogs and other dogs they may come into contact with.

Trinity CE Methodist Primary School
On Thursday the 20th October 2016 we visited Trinity Primary school in Buckshaw Village to deliver our Living Safely with Dogs workshops. The children all enjoyed learning how to behave safely around dogs and practising their new skills on Jet and our toy dog Bertie. A big thankyou to all the staff and children for taking part.
On Monday the 11th July 2016, we visited Waterloo Primary School in Ashton Under Lyne, to deliver our Living Safely with Dogs workshops. It was an enjoyable day, all the children had lots of stories to tell about their dogs, and were keen to learn new skills on how to act safely around their dogs and other dogs they may come into contact with. Thankyou to all the children and staff.
On the 5th & 6th July 2016, we visited Blessed Trinity RC College in Burnley to take part in their enrichment days. Over the two days we delivered our workshops to Year 7 and Year 8 pupils. The enrichment days were fun packed and the pupils joined in asking lots of interesting questions and sharing many stories of their own dogs, but most important learned how to live safely around the dogs they live with or may come into contact with. On Thursday 16th of June 2016 we visited St Marys RC Primary School in Fleetwood to deliver the Living Safely with Dogs Campaign. The children all enjoyed learning how to behave safely around dogs and practising their new skills on Jet and our toy dog Bertie. A big thankyou to all the staff and children for taking part.
On Monday 6th of June 2016 we visited Holy Saviour RC Primary School in Nelson Lancashire to deliver the Living Safely with Dogs Campaign. The children were all very keen to learn and joined in with lots of interesting questions and stories to share about their own dogs. Thankyou to all the staff and children for all their contributions.
On Tuesday 12th of April 2016 we took Jet and spent the day at Aireview Primary School in Silsden. We recently extended the campaign to Yorkshire and Aireview was the first school visited. All the children really enjoyed the day and workshops about living safely with dogs and had lots of stories to share of their experiences. Thankyou to the children and staff for making us feel welcome.
It was nice to spend time at Ridge Community Primary School on the 17th March 2016. The children enjoyed learning how to behave safely around dogs and also how to defuse potential dangerous situations. The children all enjoyed meeting Jet and practising their new skills. Last week we visited Pilling of St Johns Primary School with Jet to deliver the Living Safely with Dogs Campaign.
It was lovely to see all the children who were very keen to learn about dogs as the school is situated in a small farming community with lots of working dogs that the children come into contact with. So it is very important for the children to understand the dogs body language and how to interact safely.

Yesterday Jet and I visited Richard Durnings Endowed Primary School. It was lovely to see all the children. Many of the children had dogs of their own, some with dogs showing signs of aggression. After our visit the children should now have the knowledge to avoid any further aggression. Thankyou to all the staff for their help throughout the visit.
Yesterday we visited Baines Endowed Primary School, it was great to hear all the children's stories about their own dogs. After the workshop the children and teachers said they had gained a lot of insight about being around dogs and the imporance of being safe. Also how to have respect for the dogs body language and the dogs feelings, keeping everyone safe.thank you to the staff for all the help.
On Friday, Jet and I visited Pendle View Primary School. It was lovely to meet all the children, they got very excited about seeing Jet. Also a big thank you for all of the staffs help on the day and we look forward to seeing them again.
Today we visited Buckshaw Primary with Jet to deliver our "Living safely with dogs" workshop. We saw all the children from nursery to year 6, we taught the children about safety around dogs they live with, what dogs do and don't like and what can cause a dog to bite. Most importantly we taught them how to behave around a scared or angry dog, also teaching them skills such as how to be safe in the street/park around dogs they don't know. Thank you to all the staff for the lovely warm welcome Jet and I recieved and for all your help.
This week we visited Trumacar Primary School to deliver our workshop to all of the classes. The children really enjoyed our visit and meeting Jet, and also asked lots of good questions that will help them to have a better relationship with their own dogs, as well as understanding how to be safe around all dogs.
Today we visited Kings Fold Primary School in Penwortham.
Jet was a great hit with all the children and staff, Jet is so good and well behaved!
It was interesting to hear the stories from some of the children that had been bitten by a dog. We hope that they will now be better equipped to keep themselves safe around dogs, but at the same time enjoy having a dog in their life as a dog is one of the best companions we can have.

Today we visted Blessed Trinity Roman Catholic High School in Burnley with Moses and Jet.
It was a great few days visiting all the children. Thank you to the staff for helping us and making us feel so welcome, and for the lovely lunch! We look forward to seeing you again next year.
Manor Road Primary School
On Monday 29th we visited Manor Road Primary School. we had a lovely day visiting all the children with Moses teaching them how to be safe around dogs. Some of the children had stories to tell which had left them with a real fear of all dogs but by the end of the session they felt happy to see and stroke Moses. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome.
The Grange Manchester
Today we visited The Grange School in Manchester a very special school that teaches children and young people with Autisum. We delivered the special needs programme which we had jointly developed with The Grange School and we were amazed at the effect the dogs had on the young groups. They enjoyed meeting and interacting with Moses and Jet who lapped up all the love and attention. We would like to thank Mike and all the staff for their help and who do a great job with the young people.
Balladen Primary School
On Thursday we visited Balladen Primary School in Rawtenstall. We took both our dogs Moses and Jet into the school to help us teach the children how to live safely around dogs. The children were very excited to see both dogs and had a lot of questions for us. Thankyou to all the staff for their help on the day, we all thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Coppull Primary School Chorley
It was nice to meet the children at Coppull Primary School today. We met a number of children who were frightened of dogs and with our help they managed to say hello to Moses and stroke him which was a great breakthrough. We would like to thank all the staff and children for their hospitality.
Brindle Gregson Primary School
Yesterday we visited Brindle Gregson Primary School, it was the second time we had visited the school as we only delivered the workshop to one class last time, so we went back to see the rest of the school,it was great to see the children again.The children enjoyed taking part and learning lots of important information. We had a number of children mention they had been bitten by their own dogs so hopefully the information we shared will reduce any more bites.

Holy Family RC Primary School
Today we visiited Holy Family RC Primary School in Ingol Preston to deliver our Living Safely with Dogs campaign. Many of the children had dogs and there were plenty of stories to be told. Jet our real dog enjoyed meeting all the children and staff who made us feel very welcome.
New Programme
Canine Education & Training and Grange School in Manchester have worked in partnership to develop a Living Safely with Dogs programme which is designed specifically for Autistic and Special Needs children. This is an important addition to our mainstream programme and will allow us to educate children of all learning abilities how to be safe around dogs.

Burscough Bridge Primary Methodist School
Today we went to visit Burscough Bridge Primary School to deliver the Living Safely with Dogs Campaign.
Thank you for making us feel so welcome, Jet enjoyed meeting all the children and staff very much, it was Jet's second school visit of the year and she loved it!
Moor Hey Primary School
On Thursday the 26th March 2015, we visited Moor Hey Primary School in Lostock Hall to help the children learn how to be safe around dogs and understand the basic needs and feelings of a dog. The children thoroughly enjoyed the workshops and enjoyed meeting Bertie and Moses. A big thankyou to the school and staff for their help during our visit.
Cribden House Primary School
Today we visited Cribden House Primary School in Rawtenstall with our Living Safely with Dogs campaign. The children enjoyed meeting Moses and Bertie and were very proactive and enthusiastic throughout the day. The school does a fantastic job and we want to thank the staff for all their help during our visit.
Acorns Primary School
Today we visited Acorns Primary School in Moor Park Preston with our Living Safely with Dogs campaign. Moses was back after his rest yesterday. The school is for children with generic learning difficulties and Moses was very sensitive to the needs of the children and they loved interacting with him. The school does a fantastic job and we want to thank the staff for all their help during our visit.
Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School
Today we visited Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School with our campaign. Moses was resting today ready for his visit to another school tomorrow, so we took another one of our dogs called Jet who is a black labrador. The children had a great day learning all about dog safety. They all enjoyed watching the demonstration with our toy dog labrador Bertie then meeting a real labrador Jet. A big thankyou to everyone at the school.
Lytham Hall Park Primary School
Today we visited Lytham Hall Park Primary School with our campaign to join in with their health and safety week. We delivered the workshops to Reception and Year One today and are going back in tomorrow to deliver the programme to the rest of the school. The Blackpool Gazette took photos and we will be featured in the paper later in the week.

Moor Nook Primary School
For the last two days we have been visiting Moor Nook Primary School in Preston delivering our Living Safely with Dogs campaign to the children. All the children have really enjoyed the workshops and all joined in with lots of questions and stories. Today the Lancashire Evening Post came into the school to take pictures of the sessions as they are running a feature on our project in the paper.The school had a fundraising event which raised much needed funds for our campaign.A big thankyou to everyone at the school, see you again soon.
Stalmine Primary School
Today we visited Stalmine Primary School in Poulton Le Fylde. We delivered the workshops to all the school from reception to year 6 and they all thoroughly enjoyed learning how to live safely with
dogs. They were all very interactive and well behaved. A big thankyou to the school for taking part in our fundraising event "Name the Dog". A fun day was had by all.
Earby Springfield Primary School
On Friday we visited Earby Springfield Primary School to deliver the living safely with dogs programme. It was nice to see some of the parents attending and taking part. The children asked
lots of questions and told us lots of stories. They were all excited to meet Bertie and Moses. A big thankyou to the school for raising money towards the project.
Dolphinholme Primary School
Today we visited our first school of the new year to deliver our Living safely with Dogs workshop. The children had lots of questions and interesting stories to tell us about their own dogs. They also enjoyed meeting Bertie and Moses. The school made us feel very welcome and also raised some money for the project. A big thankyou and hope to see you again soon.

Maharishi Free School Visit
We had lots of fun at Maharishi Free School on Friday 7th November 2014, going from class to class teaching the children how to live safely with dogs. The children asked a lot of good questions and will now have more understanding of how a dog thinks and realise how wonderful dogs really are. The school also raised £197.50 on the day for the campaign.

Moss side Primary School Visit
Our visit to Moss side Primary School on Tuesday 11th November 2014 was a great day meeting all the children and teachers. The children were very excited to see us and enjoyed learning how to live safely with dogs with our toy dog Bertie, then putting what they had learned into practice with our real dog Moses.
Headteacher Janis Burdin said" the children thoroughly enjoyed the workshops and learned a great deal thankyou for coming into the school"

Roebuck Primary School Visit
Today we visited Roebuck Primary School and had another fun and exciting day meeting all the children, teachers and even some parents. The children were very interactive and enjoyed learning how to live safely with dogs with our toy dog Bertie, then putting what they had learned into practice with our real dog Moses. Shirley is going back into assembly on Friday to announce the winner of our guess the dogs name competition, where one lucky child will win the toy dog.
Carleton Green Community Primary School Visit
Today we visited Carleton Green Community Primary School for our first day meeting all the young children. The children were very excited and enjoyed the workshops with our toy dog Bertie, then meeting our real dog Moses. Shirley and Alan are looking forward to going back in tomorrow to teach the older children how to live safely with dogs.
Caton Community Primary School Visit
On Wednesday 26th November 2014 we visited Caton Community Primary School and had another fun day meeting lots of children wanting to learn how to live with dogs safely. We ran our "name the dog" competition which raised some funds towards the campaign. Well done to Josh on guessing the name correctly and winning the toy dog.
St Gregory's Catholic Primary School
